Upon reflection, I&#8217;ve come to appreciate the potency of non-verbal communication and simplified instructions in overcoming this hurdle. Engaging in elaborate verbal explanations might lead to confusion, so simplicity becomes paramount. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Utilizing body gestures, visual aids, and concise commands emerges as a powerful tool, rather than complex verbal instructions, employing actions and straightforward phrases streamlines comprehension. For instance, instead of articulating, &#8220;Let&#8217;s move to the next activity where we listen to an audio and match descriptions to pictures,&#8221; I&#8217;ve learned to condense instructions to their essence. Demonstrating with actions\u2014holding up the book, mimicking listening, and indicating numbers\u2014I communicate, &#8220;We listen, we give numbers to the pictures on the book.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This method not only bridges the language barrier but also fosters a more immersive learning environment. It encourages active participation, visual association, and comprehension through action-based learning. Students grasp instructions more readily, enhancing their language acquisition and overall engagement in the learning process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, this approach demands adaptability and constant refinement. It requires a keen understanding of students&#8217; responses, and continuously evolving teaching techniques to suit their needs and comprehension levels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teaching literacy in such circumstances is undoubtedly challenging, yet it&#8217;s also an exercise in innovation and adaptability.
